Copper is rightfully considered one of the earliest metals used by man throughout millenniums. Due to its unique physical properties copper became widely used in construction. Having proven experience of sheet copper use as roof cladding many architects are trying to decorate facades of buildings with copper decorative elements and in many cases coat the basic faсade surface with copper. In the open air golden pink metal becomes quickly covered with oxidation coating giving it a specific yellowish red colour eventually becoming greenish blue. Due to this chemical transformation one has the impression of a “lively” faсade.
