Far Eastern scope

Kalina mall, the largest trade and exhibition complex in the city of Vladivostok was opened in 2019.  This is the first conceptual building in the Far East that was developed taking into account the advanced market trends. The 95 thousand square meters space has place for retail chains, an 8-hall cinema, a singing fountain, many restaurants and a multi-level parking.

The development of the project was carried out by specialists of the design bureau Perspektiva.  The construction of the facility, that has no analogues, took three years and required non-standard and original solutions. For example, real Jurassic marble, which is about 140 million years old, was used for the floor decoration.

The designers of the project assigned a special role to the facade coating. The luxurious style of Kalina Mall is emphasized by 3D cassettes of the Beak type, made by GRADAS aluminium with a thickness of 3 and 2 mm. The diagonal edges of the panels create a unique character of the building, associating with the largest world projects of recent years.

The unusual structure of the facade allowed the complex to fit harmoniously into the terrain of the coastal strip with a view of the Golden Horn Bay.
